Just a heads up - Garth Brooks is slated to appear on the Jay Leno show tonight. According to TV Guide, "After a lengthy abscence, Garth Brooks returns to the public eye to talk about his new single, "Good Ride Cowboy", a tribute to the late cowboy and singer Chris LeDoux."
Thought all you Garth and Chris fans out there may wanna watch. Maybe we'll get lucky and he'll not just talk about it, but perform it, too!

OK, so were you as disappointed as I was? On and on about Trisha and the kids and one teensy-tiny little mention at the end of his segment about the song (just to plug his box set...)? Ah, well - it was what it was........

Buckn, Wouldn't you of expected to have a family buster take the spotlight. That's the kind of people Leno thrives on. Maybe next time they can have Vince & Amy or Howard Stern join in for a foursome. Afterall, Chris LeDoux was only one of the best cowboys ever, and who in Leno-land would care about that. Charlie

Charlie, you are so right!! I guess I should've known better, but I was just kinda hoping that some mention would be made of Chris and his contributions to rodeo, cowboy music and the western lifestyle. Silly me, I guess I expected too much! [sigh] - Dana
