The old adage "its the quiet ones you gotta watch" is ringing true as a tall drink of water from Oklahoma continues to ride everything they run under him. Personally I think if you have any doubts about Jody Newberry winning the finals and ultimately the world championship, you need to put your thinking cap on. This guy is the real deal and has been since he came on the tour in 2003. The stats tell the tale, and Justin McBride has ridden three bulls this year that were marked over 45 points. Guilherme might be the most consistent, but when you score 75 points and decline your reride option on multiple occasions, your riding percentage will shoot up in hurry.
Oh, and look for Sean Willingham to have a backnumber of 10 or lower in 2006.

I tell you what...I am excited that Jody is slowly moving up with his points. It would be great to see him win the world. He deserves it. Not that the other don't but you know. .It is hard to choose between out two Oklahoma boys!!!

I really want Justin to win the world title because he has come so close so many times. But there is no way I could cheer Justin as much if Jody had a chance to win it all. As Jody inches closer and closer, I find myself cheering more and more for him. He is so calm about everything as well.
I'm excited to see what happens tonight and tomorrow night. It could be interesting going into Sunday.
