please pray!
Ive only heard from 4 of my close friends so far. one of my friends is seventeen and is on his own for this storm. unfortunately he was unable to evacuate till today and only has $10 and enough gas to get him from bridge city to lufkin (maybe), and the last time i heard from him was at ten this morning and he said that the traffic was so backed up that he had to just park in the town of jasper. thats the last ive heard so far because the cell phone network is busy. Another friend of mine, i last talked to him at 2am said that he and his dad were deciding to ride it out....i also heard the same story about some more of my friends. Please pray that they got some sense or got some way to get out. Now especially since the storm has turned and my town is expected to take a direct hit. The place where i live is in the port arthur, beamount,lake charles area. Which is only about 0-5ft above sea level....and the water rise is expected to either be 6-10' LOCALLY 20'+.
that could mean a wipe out.
Right now i am trying to remain positive....thanks terri! I mean after all i am one of the lucky ones so far to have my family and we were lucky enough to evacuate early. so that is good.
Just idk yall just please keep us all in your prayers...after all this is ONLY my story. There are so many that need your prayers and yall have always been so nice on here, always keepin people in yalls thoughts and prayers.
also thanks for this little thing in the message board. This is kinda scary and its kinda relieving to be able to talk about it. so thanks.
