Tom Collins and Doug Benson in your thoughts and prayers. Tom Collins
was killed in a car accident earlier today. It is believed that when he
was turning into town he did not even see the log truck coming. Doug
Benson, who was driving the log truck, saw that Tom was turning and
tried his best to slow his truck and avoid him, but he could not. Both
vehicles where totaled. Doug managed to get out of the wreck with just
an injured shoulder. Three logs came into the cab of the log truck, one
hitting Doug and breaking the steering wheel.
Tom Collins was the patriarch of a long standing ranch family here in
Montana. Doug Bensen is a military veteran and I graduated from
Highschool with him.
Please keep both these families in your thoughts and prayers.
