I tried E mailing the Herringtons via their website today, but got E mail returned.
Is there someone out there that can confirm or deny what has been written here and on one of th eother bulletin boards.
Has Dillinger been put to sleep?
I am praying that this is misinformation.

Mary,
Thanks for answering.
I am completely saddened and shocked. The Herringtons tried so hard with him.
I wish they could bring legal action against Ednei for this.
Really one of the greatest bulls of all time.
I know the Herringtons must be devastated over his loss.

It's a shame to lose a great bull like Dillinger. Seems like so many great PBR bulls have died recently or have been retired. Accidents happen, so I don't really see any reason why legal action should be taken against Ednei..... that happed quite a few years ago and I doubt that injury was a large factor, if any, for putting him down.

Im not totally for sure about this but I watched that episode of Total Bull where it said that and im pretty certain that is a mistake. If Dillinger died im sure that it would have been all over the PBR website and I check it on a regular basis and It has never said anything about that. We raise bucking bulls and I've talked to the Herringtons on several occasions and I've never once heard them say that he died. I think they got him mixed up with Perfect Storm who had to be euthanized because he broke his back. Like I said I dont know this for certain but im pretty confident Dillinger is still alive.
