Hi everyone,

I finally got a reply from someone at the PBR.

Here is the letter I was sent.

I am sad, shocked, and sickened to hear this.

I know the Herringtons went above and beyond in doing the best and always the right thing for this wonderful animal.

I think the PBR now needs to seriously clamp down on the soaking, and hand out HUGE fines when it is done.
This practice definitely cost this bull his life in my opinion.

Yes, the great Bull Dillinger has been put down due to a broken leg. He will be
missed.

Unfortunately, I am aware of the term "soaking" in reference to bulls. I looked
on the interent to get a definition and was unable to locate anything.

I can inform you that the animal athletes that we have at our events are treated
very well and are loved dearly by the PBR family.
