Okay so now that the season is on it's final stretch I thought this would be an interesting topic to start back up. Now who do you think will win bull of the year? I would like to add--- not who you would vote but who you think the riders will vote for BOTY. If you want to add your picks too then that is fine.
BOTY- riders pick I really think Mossy Oak Mudslinger will get his year. He isn't the hardest bull to ride but EVERY guy wants him because he can win you an event. You heard it this weekend 5 of his last 7 (now) rides have won a guy the event.
BOTY- my picks I would LOVE Blueberry Wine to get it. He is rank and has been bucking for years. I do think BBW is in the running for rider votes too since you hear a lot of them say they'd like a shot at him. I also really like Rooster but I don't think many guys want to draw him which seems to hinder BOTY votes.

hmmm... Thanks Todd. I am not sure how to take your response since you have been so agreeable today. Anyways, if you disagree I don't mind. I am over taking your reponses personal. I know that SOMETIMES your responses read differently then you intended (and no this isn't an attack on you). So please don't agree (with me at least) if it's really not your opinion. I'd like to hear everyones opinion on this topic and we will find out in the next couple months who predicted correct!

No i really do agree with you BBW has been terrific. However, with that said i still believe that the best bull week in and week out is Mudslinger Not agreeing with you just stating the truth.
With that said i believe that Deuces Wild will win it next year and take over as the best oh that reminds me the bull of the year in 07 will be best shot.
Funny how those came together so perfectly.

I don't think BBW will take it (in my personal opinion) because he hasn't been out very much this year and his bull scores have not been that impressive. Though he has bucked off everyone this year, so I could probably be wrong again. Oh please, let me be wrong.
I do think LYJ is in good shape for it again but I won't complain about it. I do think bulls like Mudslinger and Reindeer (hopefully he's healed up and will come back to the PBR soon, like in Laughlin!) are gonna also have a great chance to win it this year too. Especially Mudslinger who, though he's ridden a lot, he's the highest-rated and the guys seem to like him more than almost any bull. I also think bulls like Deuces Wild have a shot this year. A realistic one, really.

I hope Blueberry Wine gets it too and feel like they may pick Little Yellow Jacket since he is retiring and they will always be able to say how many times LYJ won. Gives them something to talk about. I do however like LYJ and like I think I heard Gilbert Carillo say, I too believe "Blueberry Wine is the little bull with the big heart" I mean it is like he is an underdog and trying so hard to whoop their butts. I like him but like someone said he hasn't bucked much this year. Who knows anything is possible. The other bulls mentioned are awesome too.

Well my vote would go to High Tide. He has had had a lot of outs and bucked off some impressive riders. He also has been very consistent. He is more of an eliminator bull though so I am guessing that he will not get the needed votes.
So I guess I will probably go with Mossy Oak. As Kelly said he is a great bull that can be ridden and if you do you are likely going to win the event.

Mudslinger has no business being bull of the year! He should not even in the top 8. If his name was anything but mossy Oak mudslinger owen would have scored 86 points on him at Pueblo. While he is a nice bull to ride he is not even in the caliber of the following bulls Reindeer Wardance Rooster High Tide Kid Rock yellow jacket Camo at least these bulls try to buck some body off and dont buck with a carrot in front of there mouth

Let me think for a minute....who would it be.... BLUEBERRY WINE FOR BULL OF THE YEARyou would think with men doing all the voting they would have realized by now that size really does not matter It is a travesty that a bull with this kind of talent, who has been on top for all these years would be rewarded with the title by now.
