I should have looked at that catalog when it came out.
Good thing I was not in Vegas....I am terrible at sitting on my hands at auctions..
Do they have the results posted?
I am interested in finding out what Boberry sold for. I think he was a must have!
as well as the three Herrington Lots 31, 32 and 33
Thanks

This is all I could find...... www.pbrnow.com/media/press/release.cfm?ID=1837ABBI World Finals Bucking Bull Sale grosses $501,044 COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (November 3, 2005) - The Professional Bull Riders (PBR) in coordination with American Bucking Bull, Inc. (ABBI) presented the World Finals Bucking Bull Sale tonight at the Orleans Hotel and Casino. 44 lots changed hands for an impressive $501,044 gross and an $11,387 sales average. In addition to live bidding, Superior Satellite Auction broadcast the sale live on RFD-TV giving buyers the opportunity to register and bid via telephone. Reference sires such as Crossfire Hurricane, Mossy Oak Mudslinger, and three-time PBR World Champion Bucking Bull Little Yellow Jacket were represented in what was an elite offering of select genetics. The bucking bull industry continues to grow as a result of the meteoric rise in popularity of ABBI and PBR events, and buyers attended the World Finals Bucking Bull Sale in search of the best genetics from established breeding programs. Proven genetics can pay lucrative dividends due to events like the World Finals Bucking Bull Classic and ADM Alliance Nutrition Futurity where approximately $600,000 was paid out during two days of ABBI action. Commanding top dollar as the high selling consignment was lot number one, an embryo sired by Crossfire Hurricane and out of the dam of Mossy Oak Mudslinger. Opperman Cattle Company and Kennel Farms from Oregon purchased the embryo from consignor D&H Cattle Company for $35,000. 23 embryos commanded an average of $9,837. Another embryo offering that was a highlight of the sale was lot 19Z. For the first time in the history of the ABBI a full sibling to the PBR World Champion Bull was offered with lot 19Z representing the same genetics as the 2005 PBR World Champion Bull Big Bucks. The full sibling to Frontier Rodeo Company's Big Bucks was consigned by Ace of Spades Ranch and Superior Genetics and brought $17,000. The top selling bull of the sale was lot #43 Deputy Sheriff consigned by Hog Creek Ranch. The bull brought $32,000 and was purchased by Diamond S Bucking Bulls. The second high selling bull was lot #28, a yearling bull from Mitch Terrell. The prospect by former PBR World Finals bull Straight Jacket went for $23,000 to D&H Cattle Company. 19 bulls sold for an average of $13,397. Another unprecedented first occurred when two units of semen for Crossfire Hurricane and two units of semen for Mossy Oak Mudslinger were offered as one package in lot #19. The semen package commanded $13,500 from Stretch Bayless of New Mexico. Semen is not on the market for either the 2004 Bull of the PBR World Finals, Crossfire Hurricane, or for the proven veteran Mossy Oak Mudslinger. Semen packages averaged $10,125.

I am interested in finding out what Boberry sold for. I think he was a must have! as well as the three Herrington Lots 31, 32 and 33 Thanks I watched the 2nd half of the sale and wrote down what each lot brought. I'll check my catalog and let you know. (Catalog is at home and I'm at work right now.) I, too, was highly interested in BoBerry and altho I can't remember what he brought, I thought at the time that I really wished that I would've registered for the sale and bought that bull cause he didn't bring NEARLY as much as I thought he would.

NoGeeksPls - here are the sale prices for the lots that you were interested in:
Lot #26 - Bo-berry - $9250 Lot #31 - HC46 - $10,000 Lot #44 - HC44 - $17,000 Lot #33 - HC54 - $15,000
I really thought Bo-berry would bring more than the other lot (#27 McKee 414) from Justin McKee, which brought $9750. McKee 414 was out of Moody Blues on the top side and a McKee cow out of Candyman and Washita Outlaw. However, what was cool about the sale was that they did show video of each lot, and I have to say that McKee414 moved alot nicer than 0214 Bo-berry, so I guess that may've played into the higher price on the Moody Blues baby.
Still, had I been sitting there with a fist full of money and a number, I would've been bidding the hardest on Bo-berry! ;D

Buck N Spin,
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
Wow, I guess I should be glad I was not there. I think Boberry could have easily gone home with me.....getting him in the back of the Denali to get home would have been problematic though <grin>
Wow I hope we see all four of those boys in the future.

NoGeeksPls - You are very welcome! Glad I could be of service! Had you purchased Bo-berry, I'd bet for a little jingle more you coulda had him delivered right to your door! You wouldn't've had to stuff him in the back of your vehicle. (Altho if you did, I'm sure you'd have quite the story to tell to your grandkids!!) - Dana
