Oh my gosh! I am stunned......
My husband and I thought so much of that guy as a bullfighter. We will truly miss seeing him in the arena. Our hearts and thoughts go out to his family and friends.

Crabtree dies in bulldozer accident; bullfighter was 31 November 30th, 2005 by Josh Peter Greg Crabtree, a bullfighter on the Professional Bull Riders tour, died Tuesday when he was run over by a bulldozer he had been driving, a PBR official confirmed Wednesday.
Crabtree, 31, was clearing brush off of his property in Texas when he fell off of the bulldozer and was then run over by the same bulldozer, said Andee Lamoreaux, vice president of administration for the PBR executive assistant to CEO Randy Bernard.
Crabtree’s PBR career started in 1996 when he was contracted by a PBR USSTC Challenger Tour promoter to fight bulls. In 2001, he was invited to be the alternate bullfighter at the PBR World Finals. When Jimmy Anderson retired, he was given the opportunity to join the PBR on a full-time basis.
“I’ve fought bulls for 30 years and I’ve fought with some of the greatest bull fighters to put cleats on, and there’s nobody — bar none — that ever loved he game more than Greg Crabtree,'’ said Rob Smets, a veteran bullfighter for the PBR. “He was wild and he was crazy and he was wide open. But as far as I know, he never lived a day that he regretted, and there;s not a lot of people that can make that statement.'’
Crabtree distinguished himself not only for his daring moves in the arena but also his offbeat humor. During a performance at the recent 2005 PBR World Finals, he surprised barrelman Flint Rasmussen when he leapt on stage and pretended to perform mouth-to-mouth resuscitation on the dog-tired barrelman.
“And doing it without cracking a smile,'’ Rasmussen recalled Wednesday with a chuckle. “As unique a personality as anywhere. He kind of marched to his own (beat). …I just loved him.'’
While fans saw the wild and quirky side of Crabtree, Rasmussen said, those who worked with him on the Built Ford Tough Series tour and knew him best also saw a deep love for his children — son, Mason, and daughters, Katelyn and Victoria.
“I remember at the Finals in ‘04, we had a performance on Halloween,'’ Rasmussen said. “He and I talked in the arena during the bull riding, and he told me he wished he was home with his kids for Halloween.
“The way to soften him up was to ask him about his kids. Instantly, that’s all he’d talk about.'’
Crabtree is survived not only by his children, but also by his wife, Lynn.
The PBR is setting up a memorial fund and the funeral will be held Saturday.
More information will be provided as soon as it’s obtained.
