I have heard from an extremely reliable source that Jack Daniels is pulling their sponsorship away from The PBR. Does anybody else have any insight on this?
The Jack Daniels Invitational in Chicago in April is still listed on The PBR's website. The Pueblo Invitational is cancelled, which is somewhat ironic since they have plans to move there.
Could be some tough times in '06 for The PBR.

Hopefully NASCAR isn't sucking all the funds from Jack Daniels promo kitty. I live 40 minutes from Lynchburg (home of Jack Daniels distillary) and 20 minutes from Columbia (home of Sterling Marlin). There are rumors around Franklin that Sterling needs a ride, and Jack Daniels wants to put him in their seat. They also are rumored of making large offers for the black car to be #7. If this has already taken place, excuse me since I don't often watch cars drive in circles. cowboy4443

I hope they don't cancel the Chicago event. I was planning on going cause it is only a 2 1/2 drive. The Chicago event is listed as Jack Daniels Invatational sponsored by Johnsonville Brats, so if Jack Daniels would pull out, maybe the Johnsonville group will take over the event.

Well it would be very very shocking if it is true as the Jack Daniels site still states:
They maybe reducing their involvement but totally backing out of the agreement in the middle would be highly unusual unless there was a contract breech.

There is already a #7 Jack Daniels car.
The events listed on the PBR are our of date. Heck, they still list the Phoenix event as being held at the Bank One Ballpark.

I think it still is! The hyperlink word only says 'Phoenix Invitational.' I'm assuming they still mean the ballpark (or as it's known now, I think, Chase Field).
Any idea as to why Pueblo was cancelled and if there will be any replacement event for it?
