We are thinking about going out to Molalla for the Ross Coleman Invitational. Does anybody ever been there or know anything about the event/town?#bananarider#

I was just wondering if anybody had been there previously. Were there any hotels there, what riders were there, etc...

I went last year on the final day. I dunno about hotels and such since we live 30 miles away. Mollala is bout 30 miles away from salem area and there are a ton of hotels there. It's about 15 miles from woodburn and there are hotels there too.
I went to several PBR sponsored events last year including the televised Portland, Oregon event. I have to say I enjoyed the Ross Coleman one the best. In fact my husband and I are planning on attending both days this year.
As for riders there were a ton of riders. Mike Lee, Justin McBride, Luke Snyder, Matt Bohon, Brian Canter, Kody Lostroh, JW Hart, Tater Porter, I know there were more than that there, but my brain is going blank heh.
Oh and Flint, I know not a rider but so much fun to watch! ;D
Oh and Sunny Ledfurd too heh. I don't know who is on the bill for entertainment this year but he put on a great show.

I will be there. I have attended all that they have put on, which this will be the third year. It's a GREAT event! The have autograph sessions, a big silent auction and the bull riding is great as well. If you come out, let me know and we will meet up.
I know the one motel in Molalla is full up already but as mentioned before there are motels in Salem and Woodburn and also newburg which are not too far away.
