Thoughts and prayers to Kasey and his family after his wreck this past weekend. For those of you that have not heard he has a broken c6 vertebrae and underwent surgery in Des Moines, He is expected to be out the rest of the season. It is always difficult to see any of the guys injured and is a reminder of how dangerous the sport is even with all of the improvements they have made with the equipment over the years.

Thanks for the update. I've been thinking about him a lot this morning.
I saw Kasey's wreck on tv and I don't think I breathed the entire time. What a relief to see him walking and talking afterward.
I hate to think of him being out for the rest of the season, but it's better safe than sorry with this kind of injury, so I hope he takes the doctor's advice to heart and takes the maximum amount of time to properly heal.
I'll miss seeing him, though.

As bad as this may sound, it could have been worse. I can't remember which vertebrae it is (maybe C4), but it could have been a career-ending injury. Still, it was terrible for Kasey, and I hope he has a great recovery and return to the PBR. He is still with us though, and the surgery went well. I think it's important everyone sees the positive as well.

No doubt, CThrash13. As scared as I was, I was glad to see him walking and talking.
