Where has everybody gone? It seems like this board died all over the last few months!
How can we get it up and running again? I really liked coming on here to do the fantasy bull riding as well as chatting with other fans. I liked the fact that this board was monitored and there was a lot of quality information that was shared!
Where have all the cowboys (and cowgirls) gone?

Apparently, away for good. Some of our more prominent members left for sure, and even those that still visit don't seem to say much. I really miss the days of discussing PBR events and other happenings, and of course, chatting in a room!
I hate to assume it, but interest has died.

Right now is usually a slow time anyhow, with the PBR on hiatus and everyone busy with summertime activities. Things may pick up once the BFT tour is back on TV.
But it seems a lot of our members have either faded away, or defected to other boards that offer more than this one seems to here of late. (Terri - where are you?!) We can get this thing alive and breathing again if we all participate in some CPR. However, we all need to do our part to make this an interesting and fun place to visit.
Add some new posts that will create discussion - controversial topics usually stir the monkeys and get people talking. And even more importantly, reply to posts that are made. No point in even starting a thread when no one bothers to reply.
I check in at least once a week, but I don't see much activity. Let's try to do something about that!

I am still here but was on the road to rodeos at the end of May and then over the last month have been working 12-14 hour days and moving...moving also meant that I was without home internet access for almost a month.
The summer always sees a slow down of the board but I can tell you from stats that although there are less frequent postings only slightly less people are actually visiting.
The board has been and always will be whatever the members decide. Unlike some of the boards that are blogs that have a single writters that everyone reacts to the board is open to everyone to write opinions for people to react to. If people are coming and want to post post away! So what is happening in the PBR lately that has caught your attention?
With that said now that I have access I will be trying to post more as I can. Also on a side note someone mentioned fantasy. It hought I had previously posted this but did not see it. I was actually asked to no longer do the fantasy game due to it being a conflict with the PBR game etc. I will be removing that topic shortly but am trying to come up with something that can replace it and not be a conflict. If yu have any reccomendations please let me know.
Happy posting to all!

I really hope it picks up too. Especially with this team shootout that is going on - someone should discuss!
I think we need to schedule another chat session again! That is something I truly enjoy and IMO it can help us get more active on this board again.

I say all the regulars should make a stand to get this place back to where it once was. I've been as guilty as anyone else of mostly lurking instead of posting new threads and stuff. When visitors check out the forum, they would be a lot more willing to post if there were new threads being created every day.
I'll definitely make a better effort to start more threads and get more discussion going around here.

Bet you all thought I was dead by now. Turned 50 this year, got my first tattoo (a bulldog on my chest) by world famous Mario Barth at Mandalay Bay, and got a new custom Big Bear Chopper from LA for my birthday. Sold the thong business, enjoy the weekends, and we have been spending alot of time in Cancun. Did make it to Vegas last year for the finals, stayed first two nights at the trashy Imperial Palace, and 2nd two nights at the wonderful Marriott Rennasiance (down by the convention center). Was out of town this year when PBR came thru Nashville and lost Versus when I had to switch to Dishnet to get a HDTV signal. Cheers all and party like it's your last. I'll admit: After a while, when new posts would go days w/o any responses or only one, I started moving on to other boards.
I'm sorry. I'll try to put out more of an effort.
I do agree, though, that things usually slow down a lot in the summer--especially when there aren't as many events to watch.
