Little Yellow Jacket is currently on his way to Tom Teague's ranch near Winston-Salem, NC. He is there for live cover breeding. I emailed Teague, and Steve Teague wrote me back and said that I could visit the ranch in a couple of weeks after LYJ gets settled in. Bones and Big Bucks will also be there, but I'm not sure what other bulls I'll get to see and photograph. I'm so excited about this. I never thought I'd ever see LYJ in person!

Very cool. Have a great time, and be sure to get and post some pictures of all the bulls you get to see.

I'll be sure and do that, Cody. Hopefully I can get some close-ups. Although my main focus will be on LYJ, I want to get some good pics of Bones since there aren't that many available yet.

Got another email from Steve Teague a little while ago. He's a super guy. He said that Tom bought part interest in LYJ around 2003 and just recently acquired full ownership of him, so he'll be living at the Teague Ranch indefinitely. The Teagues felt the winters in NC will be kinder to him as he ages versus living in North Dakota. They're fixing up a real nice place for him like they're doing for Big Bucks. So they'll have LYJ, Big Bucks and Bones all living there. I'm to check back in with him next week, but it looks like I'll be able to see these three along with I'm a Gangster, Deja Blu, Red Bull and Chance. He'll let me know next week what other bulls will be available for me to photograph. The ranch is about 90 mins. northeast of Mooresville, so hopefully I can go up there every so often to see them and any new bull additions they acquire. Anyone living in the NC area ought to meet me up there and go see them too. It's right outside Winston-Salem in Graham, not too far from Greensboro, Durham and Raleigh.
