Here's the list of the top 5 bulls announced by the CBR:
Apollo (Alvin Jones of Jones Rodeo Genetics) Cochise (Tut Henry of Klein Brothers Pro Rodeo) Full Throttle (Alan Murphy of Murphy Ranch and Rodeo) Shakedown (Benny Cude of Benny Cude Bucking Bulls) Hasta Luego (Lily & Rich Bumbaca of Bumbaca's RBL Rodeo Bulls)
Great bulls! I like all of them. The BBOY will be named at the finals held January 23-24, 2009. I'm not sure how the top bull is determined, but any one of them would be okay with me.

1. Cochise 2. Shakedown (my personal favorite right now). 3. Hasta Luego 4. Full Throttle 5. Apollo
That's how I would rank the five. Apollo started off great, but he slowed a little towards the end of the year. He is still very young, and all the futurities and classics may have worn him down or something. He is still going to be a great one for years to come, however.

Hopefully, if it works out like that, you are going to end up with a happy cowboy in Louisiana. If not, it is still an honor to be considered for the award. Counting down the days!

Tut, it's good to see you here. I still need to call you one of these days and shoot the bull for a few minutes.
Also, on a side note, I hope to see a couple of your other bulls next year as well. I saw one at the NFR that was outstanding, but I can't remember his name off the top of my head. Great work!
Edit: I just looked up the bull, and it's Fort Worth. He looked as good as any at the NFR. Good stuff.
