I'm not sure how much money it will end up being for, but Guilherme Marchi will be riding Bones this weekend in Winstom-Salem for at least $20,000. Tom Teague put the money up, and Marchi accepted.
So what are his chances? Can he be the first to ride Bones?

Ya know what? I think I'm gonna say yes, Guilherme is gonna ride Bones. If anyone can do it, he can. And with it being a special competition ride, Guilherme pulls out all the stops. What the heck - I have a 50/50 chance of being right, don't I??

I hate to say no because I think Guilherme's great, but Bones is as tough as they come and Guilherme's not on his game so far this season.

I respect Guilherme's riding ability but in this case I am backing the bull.

I HOPE he comes out of his slump and hangs on for the full 8. Or if not, I'm hoping it's a battle to the bitter end....

Apparently I'm not the only one who's willing to stick their neck out and bet on Guilherme to score on Bones this weekend. Cody Lambert interview on the topic here: www.pbrnow.com/release/?id=4691So I wanna know, Cody Thrasher - you started this topic....Who are you gonna bet on?

I forgot I didn't even put a prediction for myself, but I will admit I was the first person that voted no in the poll. I don't think Bones will be ridden all season, and that includes next weekend in OKC. J.B. Mauney is as tough as they come, but Bones is special. The guys even halfway have an idea what he will do, but they just can't keep up to him.
If any match-up ever comes down to an exceptional bull and great rider, I'll pick the bull 9 times out of 10.

if anybody can ride Bones it is JB. Does that mean that I think he will. No it does not.
