And now, a few match-ups (and hopefully some from Cody when he gets to it):
Beau Hill on Mac-Nett's Hydroblast: This bull can be a good draw, especially if you look to win the round. However, Beau's left-handed, and this bull has not been kind to left-handed guys. The 3 rides on this bull came from right-handed guys. Long story short, the bull will win this match-up.
Bryan Richardson on Wrangler Big Rig: Another one that can give you the go-round, but can also be a tough draw. Bryan is just making his comeback after injury, and a bad Finals (where he was blanked in all 7 rounds). This can go either way, but I'm gonna lean towards Bryan on this one. And he needs a ride, too.
Kody Lostroh on Encore: Excellent draw for Kody, who's twisted him twice before. The bull is ridden roughly half the time, but for good scores. Kody's finally riding like the world title-contender that he's established himself as. This one will be a threat for the go-round win in my book.
Mike White on Firebird: Golly, did Mike draw a monster. The bull has only been ridden twice, and he's thrown off some good names. Mike's not having a great year by his standards, and this bull won't make things any better for him. Firebird wins this one.
Robson Palermo on Bearcat: Speaking of tough draws, this bull's been on tour a couple years now and only recently had his unridden streak broken. Bearcat's thrown some big names off himself, but if anyone can get past him, it's Robson. I'm probably going against the odds here, but I pick Robson.
Shane Proctor on Far North: This bull has been ridden 6 out of 28 times since debuting in '06, but can give you a good score too. A year or two ago I probably wouldn't have picked Shane to twist him, but with the way he's riding this year, I have to go with Shane. It should be fun watching.
Can't do 'em all, of course. This looks like it'll be a good event, especially with Jeff Robinson bringing his bulls all the way out to the West Coast. Can't wait!
