Shane Proctor was riding Nervous Waters last night in Beaumont, TX. Everything was going good like always then NW went flat. Afterwards he went to his pen and sat down. Turns out he broke his back and had to be put down. Bubba Nelson wrote of this on TBC. He is heartbroken.
I really liked this bull. He was one of the rare ones that rarely had a bad out.

That is just so sad.
It made me think of Millenium, who went down on a live televised event. When the cameras came back after the break you could tell that they had to kind of drag the bull out of the ring (by the marks in the dirt).
I believe he had the same catastrophic injury and could not be saved. He was such a super bull.
Very sad to read this about Nervous Waters. Condolences to his owners.
