Well, I just finished an article on my blog about PBR (bull riding in general) and video games. It's something that has interested me since I became a PBR fan in early-2004. I am a big-time video game junkie, and there isn't a game I would want to play more than a PBR game. I don't know if there is a huge market for it or not, but I think it would be pretty successful. Gaming companies have taken risks on other genres, and I think they could afford to take a risk on a PBR game. I think the PBR is where the question lies. Do they want to try to get a game licensed? Anyway, go check out the article at the blog in my signature, or you can just click here: 8secondsatatime.blogspot.comFeel free to discuss anything and everything in this topic. I would love to get into detail about it, and maybe some PBR people will see it. I doubt it, but they might. It never hurts to try.

Well, you know that I think a video game would be awesome!! Of course I am sure it is up to the PBR to decide they want to do that!!

I know the PBR issued a couple of computer games way back when. They're a little outdated now though. I'm not sure about video games, I never really got into them.

Cody- you should send a copy of that blog article to the PBR. Hey, you never know what could come from it. You would at least catch Randy's eye since it could possibly make money and in the world of business that's key.

A PBR game would be great. I was lookin at the games you can buy thru get it now on my cell phone and there was a PBR game but I couldn't check it out because my dad wouldn't let me order it but yeah they should make an X-Box game and then I will have a reason to get one lol since all I have is a N64. They should also make a newer computer game. My friend said they used to play a PBR pc game but it was a while ago.

Well, I emailed my blog entry on "Bull Riding and Video Games" to the PBR offices. Also, on a sidenote, the producer of the PBR Radio Network emailed me and said he saw my entry about video games on my blog. He told me to pursue it by emailing the man right under Randy Bernard. So that's what I'm going to do now. It's nice to see someone from the PBR reading what people have to say about things. Keep your fingers crossed that Randy or the man underneath him actually get the email and read the blog. Then let's hope they do something about it.

i think a kind of a bull riding school at the start of the game where you are told how to play and just get on some weak bulls to learn the basic controls would be an idea. and what about remaking some of the ideas on the original pbr game where you can be the bull too where you can go through the futurities until you can get your bulls ratings up and try to get him in the PBR

As a "bull" guy, I would definitely like to have the option to be the bull and work my way up as well. I think it would be fun to be the rider though, working my way up from the Discovery Tour to the BFTS and eventually to the PBR Finals. That just sounds like a lot of fun to me. I can't imagine how good the graphics would be. They would be awesome on the XBox or PS2. Heck, they may even make the game for the XBox 360 and PS3! Holly, that means I will need a PS3.
