-I don't have to post a spoiler tag for this, do I?-
Anyway, the round 1 draws for Anaheim are up at the PBR site, and I am not one to outclass either Cody (Thrasher or Borders), but I like making these too. See how many of these you like and what else you like that I may not have said.
Justin McBride on Caramel Corn - In short: perfect draw for McBride. These past few weeks McBride has looked like the world champ that he is (how good is it to finally say those words), and though he doesn't have a 2006 win yet, that may all change this weekend, starting with this ride. I think this could be the go-round.
Dusty LaBeth on Honken Jose - Dusty finally looks like he can go the full season here, but this bull's a tough one, only ridden once (though that was recently). I gotta take the bull here, because he can throw 'em all off.
Andre Moraes on Jack Hammer - Boy, Andre's in trouble here. Yeah, he's picked it up these past few weeks, but this bull has only been ridden twice in his 15 outs, and Andre is about to see why. Jack Hammer wins this one.
Jared Farley on Big Pappa - This bull's unridden, but the way Jared's riding, I don't see this posing much of a problem for him. It's a bit of a test, perhaps, but I'll give the edge to Jared for how well he is riding.
Jody Newberry on Mr. Harrison - Jody's bucked off a few in a row lately and that's not Jody. This bull can be a tough one to get by but I think this is a bull that Jody can handle. I say Jody will break his unfortunate streak with a ride here.
Sevi Torturo on Master Mind - Good bull for Sevi, who's proven to us that he is back to the form that got him a 3rd place finish at the '03 Finals (where he was the first man to ever ride Kid Rock). This should be mid to upper 80's, I think.
Mike White on Black Jacket - This bull is ridden about half the time, and Mike looked good in Jacksonville (and just saved himself from the cutline). Hopefully that would be the start of a great season for Mike. I'll pick the mighty one (I mean Mike) here.
Guilherme Marchi on Hell Yeah - Hell yeah, Marchi should like this bull. He could challenge for the go round, if anything. Sure he's only been ridden twice so far but Marchi is #1 in the world for a reason right now. He should have no problem here.
Kody Lostroh on Out of Time - Kody's not having the season he'd like to have, and the bull's unridden so far. Kody needs a bit more confidence but I'm afraid he won't find it on this bull. The bull will take this one.
Jay Pahlke on Taylor Made - Jay is coming on strong these past couple of events but this is a hand full of a bull with a bit of a mean streak tacked on! And he's not been ridden. The bull will turf Pahlke here.
Trey Traweek on Jazz - Trey's proving that he has what it takes. Jazz is a rideable bull for Trey, and he should take him to a mid-80's kind of score.
Ross Johnson on Super Jacket - I've seen a few flashes of brilliance from Ross at times this year but he's been rather inconsistent. This bull is a rank one on his better days. It's a tough call but I'll give the slight edge to the bull here.
And there we are. I noticed that Paulo Crimber was in the draw earlier but now he isn't there. Anyone know why?
