With the new season right around the corner, I figured I'd start my 2008 preview with a list of 10 things I'd like to see this season. Check it out when you get a chance, and make a list of your own while you are at it. 10 Things I'd Like to See in 2008

I need to think a little about numbers 3-8 but I TOTALLY AGREE with your numbers 1 & 2!

I certainly agree with numbers 2, 8, 9, and 10 (especially 8 - the First to Fail format just flat-out fails). Now, isn't the whole story with Wardance and Pandora's Box the fact that Thomas Taylor decided he no longer wanted to be involved with the PBR (or at least the BFTS), kinda like Terry Williams and Don Kish did? If that's the case, then I bet we'll never see them again. That's too bad.
#3? I'd really like to see Jody back on the tour, but like I assumed, isn't he not interested in the PBR at the moment? I'm sure a combination of being called a cheater and getting cut off the tour killed his interest in the PBR. I hope he decides to return but I wouldn't be so surprised if, in fact, he never does.
I'd also like to see Marchi win the title one day (and yeah, with McBride out in 2008, this may be his year - then again, if JB rides anything like he did this year, it'll certainly be a race!). Funny how a couple years back, the community spewed out hatred for Marchi, but now everyone's gone to his side and turned their backs on McBride. IMO McBride was the best all year long in '07 and deserved his title. Whether or not he's friendly is a whole 'nother issue. But yeah, I think Marchi deserves a title. Poor guy, he's on a list of bridesmaids (Ty Murray, Justin McBride, now him). He needs to break out!

I really don't cheer hard for either McBride or Marchi, but it would be nice to see one of this generation's best bull riders (Marchi) win the big one. If it was completely up to me, I'd like to see Wiley Peterson, Mike Lee, Kody Lostroh, Brendon Clark, etc. win a World Title in 2008. But on a professional fan standpoint, it would be great to see Marchi win one, so the press will get off his back.
As for personal opinion though, I don't cheer for either guy. But you are right, Justin McBride completely deserved this World Title. He is the best in the world without a doubt.
