Barrel Racin mumbo jumbo? I care nothin about barrel racin. I will be team ropin and breakaway this year. Believe me, if I was a guy I would be out there bulldoggin, bull ridin, all that other great stuff but the NHSRA don't allow girls to do it so I can't. Oh and yeah I do have guys that I care nothin about but I don't come on here and point out everything that they do wrong.

That makes no sense. What events did you do again? bullDOGGING not bull riding...and as a matter of fact I DO ride bulls so dont think I don't have experience. Better "teacher"?

Back on the main subject, what u said about not tryin, the way I look at when he gets down in the chutes to go and ride I concider that a try, some ones not gonna go pay a nuts load of money and travel a long way just get out of the chutes and look for a place to land and that thing about fallin off a horse purposely would take longer than 3 seconds, ur full of nuts, when u were to ever get down on a bull a feel the power and drop they have u wouldn't be a bit suprised that some one might buck off that quick, these bulls have alot more power than those little calf lookin SOBs that u bulldog, the pain u go through in a season is about as much pain a bullrider puts up with in a week of ridin, The way I look at Lukes in a slump and come out of soon, he just needs to go back to basics and he'll be fine, everyone goes through a slump when u ride some go through it in high school and others have go through in the PBR nuts happens

Also Cowboytodd25, just because he is bucking off under 4 seconds in his last 24 rides or whatever you said does not mean he isn't trying or he doesn't have heart. If there is a mental block (which is what he probably has) then no matter how hard you try and how much heart you have for something, you still are going to fail, until you figure out what is going on in your head. I know that from a personal experience (wasn't bullriding, it was gymnastics, but a mental block is a mental block).

WEll dont wanna start anything up again, but I have to say i am probably one of those "professional armchair quarterbacks" and I am one of the "all of those kids in here" but i have to say I LOVE the sport and I LOVE to talk about it and as long as I AM part of a message board like this...I will continue to do so as long as yall allow me. Now I have no first-hand knowledge other than my dad being a bullrider, growing up around the rodeo and bull bashes at local events and the wonder T.V. As far as the barrel racing "mumbo jumbo" I have total respect for anybody in any these kind of sports because they are out there doing something that I am not. I am just thunderstruck by anybody in the rodeo,in general, buisness. I agree with TNBullRidinGirl... If given the chance I would be out there learning and doing what they dont allow the girls to do...my momma just wont lemme ::)lol. NOW BACK ON SUBJECT I kinda summarized everthing that people have kinda said... It is basically believed that whether or not Luke Snyder is, in peoples opinion, "trying" he needs to go back home and get back to the basics. Whether it is from a mental block, personal inspiration and enthusiasm, riding style, or riding capabilities. Agree or Disagree...why?

Get on practie bull, after practice bull, after practice bull. I agree with you on this and I think this is what Luke needs to do. I haven't been on the board in a bit because I have been extremely busy with college (the summer semester is a bit of a b*tch). So, I missed the original post. I will say that Mr. Todd has the right to his opinion and he has the right to post it, but to say that someone isn't trying or giving 100%, how can anyone with the exception of that particular person know what they are or are not doing?! Judging from other things said by Mr. Todd, I do not beleive he likes Luke, but like I said that is his opinion and he is allowed to have it. I know Luke and I can say from my experience with him, that I know he is trying his heart out and it is killing him to be in this slump. Karen
