Yep, nothing to talk about I suppose. That's why I think the PBR really shoots themselves in the foot by having such a long break. It's sad, but I am totally out of the PBR mood right now. I was loving it earlier in the season, but I just can't get into it with a month or two of not seeing any PBR events. Kinda stinks. This place will pick up again around September or so when the push for the Finals begins.

Yeah it is a little quiet. I am wondering if maybe people are on vacation and celebrating the nice summer weather.

The PBR's intention in not having TV events during this time is to make time for those guys that are rodeoing to hit the big runs held over this month or so. It has been that way from the beginning and as many times as there has been talk of changing the scheduling, the board has remembered what it was like to be a bull rider and chose to keep things the same way. There may not be as many bull riders riding both in the PBR and PRCA but there are enough that they still don't schedule TV events over this time. The PBR is definitely not stagnant right now as there are more CT and other events going on right now than a guy can get to. Some of those will be on TV shortly and can be just as good as a BFTS event.

That's a good point, but they should be working on a TV deal to get those CT events on television this month. It's not hard to get out of a groove as a fan, and right now, I am just not caring about the PBR like I did early in the season. If the CT events were on LIVE or even a day or two after, it would be much different. If the stars of the PBR are doing some bullriding, then show it to us. I guess the whole Tour De Lance has a lot to do with it too. But that crap can hit the fan for all I care. I would rather have some bullriding. I agree though, the CT events are very solid a lot of the time, especially when the BFTS isn't having events.

Check the PBR site for news on CT events being televised - we'll see 3 of 'em next month! Yes!
Hopefully this board will at least be active once Tulsa hits at the end of the month....
