Here are the injuries from last night. from the PBR press release...hope that all of them are able to continue to compete!
Injury Report:
Lee Akin (Weatherford, Okla.) – Bruised left leg, probable.
Ross Coleman (Redmond, Ore.) – Concussion, strained neck. Questionable to compete in round two.
Paulo Crimber (Olimpia, Sao Paulo, Brazil) – Broken thumb of right hand (riding hand), doubtful to compete in round two.
Brian Herman (Victoria, Texas) – Concussion, probable.
Tater Porter (Kenansville, Fla.) – Broken fibula and sprained right ankle. Questionable to compete in round two.
I was actually pretty shocked to see how severe Tater's injuries were. It did not look that way on TV.

See I thought Tater's injury looked pretty bad.. almost a repeat of Mcbride and Lefty last year in GR. I was surprised when they said it was only a bruised calf last night on the broadcast. However, I will be interested to see if he still competes and if so what they did to help (i.e. air cast, etc)... I must say i am disappointed to see he is injured.. I was really pulling for him to win
This injury list is just too long. I know Holly will be disappointed if Ross doesn't ride. I know I will be dissapointed and Paulo isn't riding! I just love PAULO!!! I can't see why a bruised leg would keep Akin out or a concussion for Herman (unless it was severe but he didn't go to the hospital so I assume it wasnt).

That is exactly what I was thinking about Tater's injury..It looked so much like Justins...
Yeah I am upset about Ross. I was hoping to see him ride well at the finals. Maybe he just needs to heal up and get ready for next season!! Because next year is all him:) (that's hoping anyways)
I hope Lee rides...I don't see that a bruised leg would keep him out since Mendes is riding with torn ligments in his leg.
And as for Paulo, I was really hoping to see him have a good finals as well!!!

That's a bad list, especially heading into tonight's eliminator pen.

i missed watching it because i dont get oln on the tv here. that is a long list for just the first round. wonder what is going to happen tonight with the eliminator pen. i will have to check back in later to see what happened...

For those of you without OLN you can keep up iwth the scores here, just go to draws/results. This page refreshes ever min or so. It kept up really well with the TV broadcast last night. www.pbrworldfinals.com/2005/I kinda thought Ross was not home last night.
