I'm so happy with how well Jody has been doing at the Finals! I hope he can keep his momentum going in the next 3 rounds and come home with a shiny new buckle that says "2006 World Finals Winner" and the million bucks! I'm a little PO'd with how little attention they're paying to him, but that might contribute to helping Jody stay focused and if that's the case, they can ignore him all the way to the awards banquet! Three more bulls, Jody - keep it up!!

Loops just cost him a world championship. Cody Lambert caught him in the chute. I wonder why they wait til now to catch him, but they never pop Chris Shivers?

Yes it is too bad that they got Jody disqualified last night. I have been noticeing Chris Shivers for years doing this and it don't seem that they have ever come down on him..........Good luck to Jody this afternoon and I hope he comes back and rides the last 2 bulls......Lonny

I noticed that Jody got popped last night for loops and i was just wondering why everyone hasn't jumped on him like Edgard Oliveira. If everyone knows Chris does it he must be really good not to get caught.
I must ask, does anybody think jody has been doing this all year and just now got caught? If this is the case i would think he credibility has been shot and the respect we once had for him has to go away. After all the brazillians may take a long time in the Chute and not be liked but only one of them has been caught cheating. Is it that jody is an american and everyone likes him and his beliefs that we are not crucifying him for Cheating!!!!!!!!!
In my eyes i will never look at him the same nor will i pull for him like i have been able to all year and i hope justin holds on to beat him and marchi!!!!

Ok, I have a question why all the sudden are u people being rude about chis? Ever since they said he could win his third championship almost everyone has been rude to him. Now We do not know the truth. None of u know if Jody/chris is actually cheating or not. I believe they are not but u never know. The only person that knows is jody/chris himself. I also believe chris does not cheat because if he did don't u think he would have stayed on all his bulls at the finals? But u people, not saying everyone, only likes certain riders and i bet if someone said justin was cheating most of u would be mad. I am praying that Justin wins.but just think for one min how u would feel if someone was saying that about ur fav rider. U do not know what is and what isn't the truth so before u say something think about it for a few min.

Well, the fact that they commented yesterday that all the riders supported Jody would make it appear that they feel Jody was wrongly accused. My thought is this: Jody apparently was well aware that Cody Lambert thought he might be doing this and was watching Jody's rides very carefully, so WHY in the world would Jody continue to do so if he really had been doing it intentionally all along?!
None of us will ever know for sure if Jody did it on purpose, but I personally feel that Jody doesn't have it in him to cheat. Just my opinion......

We all would like to think that it was harmless and an accident but, The facts are he got caught he was dq'd and that is all any of us know. I think that Cody Lambert is a fair man and i think what he saw was probable cause to dq him.
Ironically, Jody did not cover another bull. We may all want to believe (including myself) it was unintentional but explain the fast buckoffs and cold streak all of sudden? We may try to say it was mental but i think there may be some validity to it all.

I don't think you have any right to say Jody did cheat. Jody is a good person and unless you are him you don't know what he did. I think we should all drop it and move on. Jody rides just like all the other guys there. He loves to ride. I don't think it's very cool beating him down just because someone doesn't like him. We all watch the PBR for a reason, because we love bull riding. But that's just me. God Bless

It's called not having the focus after that crap happened. You can't tell me he was 100% mentally fit to ride bulls after all the controversy. And who can blame him? I would have been so mad at the situation, there is no way I could ride another bull that week.
To ride these type of bulls, the riders have to be 110% mentally ready. And with all the controversy, I'm sure Jody had to be thinking about it.
Jody will bounce back next year and be a contender once again. To even say he wasn't staying on because he wasn't cheating is pretty dumb in my opinion. The guy has been riding bulls for many years now and doing it well without cheating. That's an absurd accusation.

Absurb as it may be, he was dq'd for looping his spur. None of us not even you know the truth only Jody does. He told Cody it was ok and he loved him still. Makes me believe that it was unintentional but why did everyone jump on edgard when he got caught yet when it is jody it is ok. If someone would please differenciate the two i would appreciate it.
I am a fan of bullriding, Rodeo, and many other sports but i do not tolerate cheating nor do i tolerate ignorance.
If you get caught fess up to what happened or be prepared for the scrutiny.

Jody drew a good bull in round seven and was riding him easily until he turned back the other way. Any other guy would have done the same thing. In the short go he flat out got beat. Bull jumped out and cranked it pretty fast. Tall guy plus little, fast bull usuall equals buckoff.
Edgard got popped twice because of knots, plus he had illegal rowels. Thats why he is under scrutiny. They didnt make a huge deal out of his rowels being illegal, but if he was a threat to Justins world championship, you can bet they would have.

it's just what happend it would be a top story that he was 3rd and not 20th. it's just like the news or the paper do u think they would make a front page article about some regular person shop lifting no but when someone famous does they do. it's just what happend and maybe he didn't mean to do it for the ride he got disqualified on but it happend and who know's. weither it was the fact that he wasn't focused because of the controversy of the DQ or that he didn't have his foot caught to get him threw the ride he didn't ride and what happend happend and should be lucky he wasn't punished more or that from doing it that he didn't got caught in his bull rope and stepped all over.
