Okay since I haven't seen this posted here is a recap of the awards ceremony. All and all it was good this year!
Jerry Nelson was recognized for being such a great stock contractor and taking such good care of his bulls.
Bull of the finals was voted by the judges as a three way tie for the winner... the tie was split by the bull's average score in the finals (all had 3 outs). 1. Pandora's Box 2. Blueberry Wine 3. Walk this Way. Each won money
Stock contractor of the year was HD and Dillon Page. They won a bonus plus a Ford Truck
BOTY obviously was Big Bucks.
Adriano won the Ford Super Duty Challenge but since he just bought a new truck 2 months ago, Ford is going to do something to help him out.
JW Hart presented Kody Lostroh with the rookie of the year belt buckle. I believe his words were "he's won $195,000... hell, I don't know what to say!" Kody gave a nice, short and to the point speech.
Marchi won the average for the finals and gave a wonderful speech. He is such a sweetheart!! Everybody gave him a standing ovation. During his speech he congratulated Justin and gave him a hug.
Justin recieved his belt buckle and said "they gave me the check but this is what I have been asking for all night" He was in normal form and gave a funny speech and thanked his family, wife, the PBR, his sponsors, Ford and his buddies!!
Justin was in a tie with Bohon and
can't think of the other for the most 90pt rides so they split the tie by seeing who had the highest 90pt ride in the season. Justin won the bonus from USCT Smokeless Tobacco.
