Has anyone heard how Mike's recovery is coming along? I checked on his website but there's nothing too recent there. However, the advertisement for the Enterprise event that he's hosting in mid-July alludes to him riding in this event.
Anybody have anything new to report on Mike's progress and when we might see him riding again?

I just saw the list for the Reno Rodeo Invitational Team roping, which is next Tuesday, and Mike is roping with his wife, Hannah. I hope they win $100,000 each. That's the top prize.
Another team entered: Tony Mendes and Chris Shivers.

Hey, thanks Gus, for that info! Mike must be doing much better if he's feeling up to roping. Very good to hear.
I'm pulling for Mike and Hannah to win at the team roping - I'm sure the money would come in handy, considering his recent injuries.

on Mike's website under his photo Gallery it has pics of him doin the new commercial. if it was shot after his inhury he looks like he's doin well!

Those pics are from the last commercial that was filmed at the Mohegan Sun event at the beginning of the year.
I would assume that Mike will NOT be riding at his event but will be there to sign autographs and what not. Matt Bohon was in Sikeston for the whole weekend signing but was too sore to ride a bull so he never got on but instead helped work the gate and the other production guys.
His wesite said "On May 4 the doctor removed the large brace and told Mike that the bones were healed. He is wearing a smaller brace and will return to the doctor in three to four weeks. If everything still looks good at that time, Mike could return to competition the end of July or first of August."
I assume they will post an update in the next week or so since he should have or will be going back to the doc soon.

no there is new pics that are from this month. he and chris and greg potter all did a commercial for branson tractors they had to dress up and stuff, but the filming was at the begining of the month, so i think that mike is doing pretty well. I heard he'll be back mid july or the event in Mexico.

I read somewhere that Mike and Chris competed at a Team Roping, I belive in Florida. It said in the article that Mike would be back around September.

Mike was moving around well this weekend and said that he was feeling pretty good and could not wait to get back to riding. Also Chris said that he and Tony picked up $6000.00 in the team roping at Reno and had a lot of fun. Not sure how Mike did I forgot to ask  ! |
