Chris Shivers -- Chris landed on his head, neck and shoulder during the Mossy Oak Shoot Out in Chihuahua, Mexico. A CT scan has shown a herniated disc at the C5 & C6. The spine doctor has reviewed the scan and has determined that aggressive surgery is not required at this point. Dr. Tandy Freeman will review Chris condition each week to ensure there has not been any significant negative change to his condition. Chris will continue to compete for the remainder of the 2006 PBR BFTS season. ((((

WHAT? how come i didnt even know he landed on his neck/head. AHHH this is so frustrating he wasnt doing well in the first place ... now what is he going to be like?? And is it that smart to keep competing this close to the finals...i think he should rest at least 2 events then go to the finals. I cant believe this happened to him...GET BETTER CHRIS!!!

"this is so furstrating he wasn't doing well in the first place... now what is he going to be like??" well, he went to a challenger event last weekend, and rode both of is bulls and came tied for 4th. we'll see how he does in NC!! can't wait to watch!!
