I can't wait, either! I'm going to Cabela's during the day to meet the riders, get autographs and all that good stuff, but I'm not able to go to the event that night.

The sad thing is that it hasn't even been very long since the last event. It's only been 2 or 3 weeks, but we were all so spoiled by seeing it every single week.
I'll definitely be ready for the return in Kansas City, but they seriously need to do something about their schedule.
It's alot easier to lose interest in the season when they skip a month or two. I would much rather see them just have one every other week throughout the entire year. Something like that would work much better IMO.
Oh well, we have to deal with it..

I would much rather see them just have one every other week throughout the entire year. Something like that would work much better IMO. I agree. However, I thought the reason for the PBR season slowing down in the spring and summer is to accommodate the busy regular rodeo season that the PBR cowboys participate in. Is that still the case?

That would be a good explanation. I know some of the guys have been competing in other things since there hasn't been an actual PBR event. But that could definitly explain it.

Yes, Terrier Mom, that is the reason. But me being such a big PBR fan, I get a little selfish when it comes to that.
I'm sure the PBR riders enjoy going to regular rodeo events throughout the summer, but it almost makes the season silly IMO. I mean, it's been a month already, it's easy for the fans and everyone associated with the PBR to really lose steam after such a long break. And we have another month long break coming up after the next 2 events.
I just really don't like it much. I understand it, but I don't agree with it.

Wow, I haven't been to the board in a long time... but I am very ready to get back into PBR mode! I'm very excited for some bucking action this weekend. Question... Cory Rasch rode in a Challenger Tour event this past weekend but hes not listed in the draw for this weekend... does anyone know why? Thanks!
