The riders who were dropped from the tour following the Dale Jr. PBR Clash in Charlotte, N.C. are Marcelo Cruz (Brazil), Jody Newberry (Ada, Okla.), Corey Navarre (Weatherford, Okla.), Dusty Labeth (Louisburg, Kan.), Robey Condra (Dayton, Texas), Shane Proctor (Grand Coulee, Wash.) and Cory Melton (Keithville, La.).
The following riders, all of whom have been out of competition due to injury, will be subject to the cut after they have competed in five tour stops: Chris Shivers (Jonesville, La.) with five events remaining, L.J. Jenkins (Texico, N.M.) with five events remaining, Cory Rasch (Clarksville, Tenn.) with four events remaining, Allan Moraes (Brazil) with four events remaining, Cody Whitney (Asher, Okla) with three events remaining, Chad Denton (Oroville, Calif.) with three events remaining, Danny Jo Fowler (Bakersfield, Calif.) with two events remaining and Sevi Torturo (Norman, Okla.) with one event remaining due to their respective injuries. All 2007 PBR Built Ford Tough World Finals presented by Wrangler qualifiers receive five BFTS events before they are subject to the cut.
The top five athletes who will advance to the BFTS by virtue of their achievements at the USSTC Challenger Tour level are: 1. Harve Stewart (Stephenville, Texas) $20,910; 2. Tyler Smith (Fruita, Colo.) $19,026; 3. Ross Johnson (Alvord, Texas) $13,919; 4. Michael Riggs (Claxton, Ga.) $16,973; 5. Matt Werries (Jacksonville, Ill.) $15,572.

Sad to see those riders get cut from tour, but i am glad to see some new faces. Lets see what the new faces can do this weekend!

Cuts are always hard. It is sad to see someone go yet it is also very exciting to see some of the new guys and guys that we have been missing get their shot after working so hard. Hopefully we will be seeing some of the riders that were cut at the CT, ET and DT events and back on tour in no time! Oh and watch out for Matt. I have seen him ride a few times and he is a very sticky rider!

It's sad to see those guys go, and hopefully they'll get back on tour, but it's nice to see new and old returning faces:)

I cant believe that Jody was cut off tour! That is so sad to see, hopefully he'll do really well on the lower tours and come back quickly. it will be interesting to see the new talent on tour.
