#giveup#
SAME SONG....87th VERSE!!!!
Don't worry! We are watching hockey here too!!!!
#pullinghair# #cussing#
Like Cody said though, it is PBR faults for putting in the contract with NBC that if something else is still on they stay with that and not go to the PBR!!
So we should be mad at them too!!!!
Lets just hope we get to see a little PBR!! I have been waiting all day for this!! I guess a few minutes is better than nothing at all!!

Ah, dont worry. They just skip about 90% of the rides, including the short go.

I didn't even get the bull riding coverage on my NBC channel. I live in Wisconsin and it was listed on NBC which would be Channel 4 and I set my TiVo cause it was listed as NBC4 and when I got home to watch it, there was hockey, an informercial about a ladder and skating. I spoke with my dad and he found it on the Green Bay NBC channel. I do not understand why they would list it on the national NBC and then only show it on certain NBC channels. I think the PBR should rethink using NBC if they are not going to show it on all NBC channels and not just a select few channels. I know it is nice for fans who do not have OLN so they can see some of the events, but I think they are going to lose fans if they cointinue to show events on a select few NBC channels.

I don't even bother with NBC coverage. Sad, huh? ;-)

I'm with you, Donna!
I knew it was going to be on NBC Saturday, but didn't rush to turn the TV on. I think I finally turned it on about 20 minutes into it and yep, there it was - hockey. My husband & I looked at each other, said "par for the course" and turned the channel. I think we went back to it about a half hour later and caught the rest of it, but I honestly don't even want to watch it on NBC anymore. Besides being cut short because they never start it when they're supposed to, like rossco4 said above, too many commercials, too. Then add in Kenny Rice and Donna (oh)Brothers, and I just don't care any more. I think the next event that's on NBC won't be appearing on my TV.

Well, as most of you know, I usually don't get all worked up over the coverage. I usually just take what I get and enjoy it.
However, the coverage for Tampa was the worst I've ever seen, with the exception of Anaheim 2004 (only 20 minutes of that event was shown).
Even when they did finally go the PBR, they half-assed it big time. They just showed a few rides and then went to commercial. They only showed about 10 or 15 actual rides as they occurred.
The good thing is I'm a fan of hockey nowadays, and there were some high-quality games being aired. So I honestly wasn't too pissed because I knew the PBR would be on for two hours on both Saturday night and Sunday night.
But in all honesty, it was an embarrasing display for the PBR.
