Just wanted to comment what an exceptional job Versus did covering the Finals! They missed only a scant handful of rides (3-4) over the course of the entire week. With that being my only complaint, all I can say is "Well done!"
On another note: Is it just me, or is anyone else REALLY irritated by Craig Hummer using the term "so to speak"?!? I think Craig does an excellent job, especially being so new to the sport, but his use of that phrase is driving me absolutely crazy!! It's like nails on a blackboard, or someone chewing tin foil - it just drives me bonkers every time he's said it this past week. Please, Craig - retire that phrase!!!

I thought they did a good job, but they are still following the cowboys around too much after their rides. Chris Shivers and at least one other rider ducked into the men's room when they saw the camera still following them, and one of the riders and a sports medicine team member put their hand in front of the lens. I've noticed the guys are walking out a lot faster now also, trying to lose the camera. Showing Guilherme weeping, more than once, was a little much - let the guys have their privacy, and let us see the action at the chutes! Ty's gotten better at broadcasting as time goes on - he's a hoot.

I used to get really irritated listening to Ty for long periods of time on the telecasts, but he has gotten a lot better, and he does a good job. I do think that VS did and excellent job with the telecasts. They ran over sometimes, and showed most all of the riders. I do think that the cameras were a little much though. It seemed like they followed the riders much more than usual. I think it's okay sometimes, but enough is enough. When the riders are ducking into the bathroom and running out of the arena to get away, that's a little much in my opinion. I'm fine with just watching the bullriding action.

Following the riders behind the chutes gives me time for a bathroom break or tea break. Two thumbs up VS! You did a great job in Vegas!

They should give Cody Lambert a mic so we can hear him chew out the guys who take too long in the chute.
