By the lack of conversation i really would have though it was an off week. I was so happy to see mike white get 2 qualified rides i was also very happy to see how good splat kat was and will be. The riders looked to be in good riding form and really did good. Welcome back mike lee 2 qualified rides, Chris shivers back on track riding two, Adriano looked to be in championship form and maybe he is healthy now and will make a run, Edgar Olivera way to go dude you are riding everything great to see you doing good. All in all it has been a great week to be a fan. Sorry Cheyanne you didnt get the best this year.

Well I was reallly happy to see Mike White ride as well. I have him picked in fanatsy so that always helps. I wasn't sure about the one ride when the guy clearly came off before the 8 second mark and they gave it to him and then Justin McBride came off at 7.9 and they didn't give it to him. I guess that is the way the cookie crumbles sometimes. What about Marchi hurting his hand. I wonder if he will ride today since he passed on the Mossy Oak last night.
I agree with you though. All the riders seemed to be in good shape. I think the break is doing them so good. It was good to see Mike Lee back as well. It seems he is coming back full force.
As for Edgar Olivera, I am not sure about this guy. He seems to be on fire. I mean last night his ride looked effortless. I don't really like the guy but he seems to be riding with perfection.
Can't wait for the third round and the short go today!!

Be carefull when you make note of the guy falling of it was willis trosclair and he wasnt even close that was b.s., but we know how well he is protected around these parts it must be reputation leniency you know he has ridden so many this year they felt they had to give him a score, he did not deserve the score and it should have been much lower 86.5 and not even an 8 second ride and he fell off yet they give tony mendes an 83 when he rode his bull how stupid is that. Lets hope tonight the judging is much better and does not give crap calls like that.
Edgar Olivera is on steroids i believe see how big his head is now my god. he has gotten so much better in such a short amount of time he must be doing steroids. Not proven just an assumption on my part.

Lots of OWJI last night...I didnt think Willis made the whistle, nor did he deserve a score any higher than 82-83. I didnt think Cody Hart should have been marked over his bull, and the same goes for Guilherme Marchi. If I was judging it, I would have had Adriano winning the round with an 89, Jody Newberry in second with 88.5, and Lee Akin in third with 88.It seems like the better you ride them, the less you score, and the more you flop around the more points you get.

If you noticed on Willis, he was away from where Cody C. could have seen that his hand came out and the back judge has the oficial watch. I don't think it was an intentional gift as it was more a case where Cody couldn't really see to make the call. I know in the past he has said that if he isn't 100% sure, it's gonna go to the bull rider. Guess that's only fair if they really aren't sure.

yeah and i think that the score on mike lee's ride shouldve been higher in the second round...even the announcers commented about it. ha he just made it look too easy i guess.lol. its just too bad willis got the benefit of the doubt and justin didnt. boy the drama tho! i mean i was going insane! and now with marchi hand hurt...this race is so undeciful (i think i just made that word up..lol) Now will someone plz explain why they dont televise the first round? its really annoying...i had been ready to see mike white on downdraft! a favorite rider on a favorite bull! oh but no....its not FLIPPIN TELEVISED! I swear. its so annoying to miss stuff and find out later. geesh, i mean its like when rob smets got his leg broke in the first round in alberquerqy(spelling i know! sorry!) and it wasnt televised. not that i wanted to see him get hurt, but you get the point that i wanna see the action more than hearing about it. well best of luck to all the guys the rest of the weekend!

I'm sure Cody C. didn't see Willis hit the ground before the 8 was up..Cody does a good job. I hated to see Marchi get hurt and being a BIG Justin McBride fan and friend I know Justin doesn't want anyone to get hurt either..There is a lot of bullriding left and a lot of points to be made at the finals..Don't get me wrong I hope Justin wins the campionship!! I hate these long breaks..however I know the cowboys needed it.. I'll be watching tonight along with all of you guys

Even with a gimme willis trosclair still couldn't get in the short go oh wait people that dont ride any bulls should not go. I have to say after going 0-3 he is one arrogant guy lol when i had to talk to him in springfield i thought he was bad but my god the strut after a buckoff was incrededibly bad. It was like hey judges you know i should have had that come on gimme another ride you know i earned it that was worth at least 60.
Waiting for the replies patiently

i don't care if your ride a bull or not. walking like you own an arena is fine by me. and wether he does it naturally, or on purpose to intimade others or boost his own confidence, i say more power to him. when i show, i act like i own my arena, and when i play sports, i act like i own the feild. and just because you don't think he deserves those 8 seconds, doesn't mean they are going away. i'm sure if he had been your favorite rider, you wouldn't be making the same comments. and lay off luke, he still has fans.

well i have to say that this event was pretty good. there were alot of young bulls that look really good. i hope that owen is ok. that looked pretty scarey, the stupid emergency broadcast testing came on over that, so i missed what happened, i am just going to have to watch the replay (like i wasnt going to anyway ) i am glad to see both mikes and chris riding well. it is about halfway done airing now, so i still have more to watch imo, edgard got used to the way bulls buck in the us. the bulls here are different from the bulls down in brazil. i just watched him ride, he has great form and is steady on the bulls. i think that luke just needs to take some time off from pbr and get on some bulls that are not as rank. it will be a good confidence booster, which is what he needs right now. luke has the talent, we know that. i do agree with you todd that willis had a gimme in round two. but the kid does have talent. nobody is perfect all the time, we all know that. give these guys a break sometimes. they have to be good to get to the tour.

who are you calling a child? i'm pretty sure we are all adults here, or pretty close to it. if we are too young for you, maybe you need to go to a board for those much, much older.
and yes, luke just sucks. that's why he won rookie of the year, and then ranked 16th, and 17th in two consecutive years. i happen to beleive that bull riding is a sport where LUCK does play an important role. and yes, he's having an off year. and when a rider "who does it for you" has one, i'll be sure to attack the heck out of him. and just curious, what does a rider need to do to "do it for you" todd?
being new here todd, you have been less then welcoming, and seem to make posts that encourage controvery. get a life, and put some punctuation in your writing. a few spelling errors i can read, but run on sentences make me go "weeeeee-todd!!!!"
