So basically, Steven Shelley is the only one getting cut. But on the other hand, the other guys get to make the jump. Are they going to have 50 riders now at the BFTS events?
Their cut system needs to be a little more cut-and-dry IMO.
But like you said, it should be a fun run to the Finals.

I think with all the injuries they will be fine and still have 45. However, I know in the past they have allowed extra guys on tour because of world champions staying on tour. Last year they did that with Chris Shivers and Troy Dunn so at some events there was 47 guys instead of 45.
I still think it is dumb that Keith gets to remain on tour... he has been cut like three times but then bumped back up. It is a little silly.

sounds like shelley needs to go and keith needs to get goin! i like them both as a person but as far as riding...i just cant recall anything great lately. keith....well he needs to just start showing himself...but where? hopefully if he's getting another chance..he'll start here and now. i dont see what could be more motivational then escaping a cut....again.

Keiths been showing himself, just not where it counts. He won one of the larger CT events last month and placed elsewhere. He has been earning enough money on the CT to keep his spot on the BFTS. It seems like every year someone gets lucky and doesnt get cut, Im just glad it was Keith.
I think its great that the PBR informs the fans about the rider selection process, but it is so cloudy that you cant tell who is on the tour. The top 5 money earners from the CT should replace the 41st-45th BFTS money earners. If the top 5 money earners on the CT already have a BFTS spot, give it to the next guy in line. Its not complicated.

Its not complicated. well see heres the problem. I dont get to watch the challenger tours, or go to them. therefore i am very poorly informed about what who does there. probably not the only one. Thats great if hes doing it there....but like you said hes not doing it where it counts....he needs to. otherwise people who are in my boots are gonna walk the same way. #cowboy# on your other point. GREAT POINT! nice and organized. i dont see why its not that way already. In fact, the process right now gives me a headache...idk whos cut and whos safe. just too many different combinations and... uh advil!
