I'm not a huge fan of Cowboy Troy or Wynonna, but I have always enjoyed the show. I have to say I've preferred the runner-up the last two seasons though. George Canyon is still one of my favorite artists.
Anyway, the show kicks off tonight, and I'm sure Holly will have me tuning in!

Alright, who all got to watch it?? The one guy I REALLY wanted to see, Chris Young, I didn't get to watch! The satellite went out right after the 3rd contestant and came back on right when Chris was grabbin the mic to talk to the judges! Can you believe that crap?? If you've seen my myspace, you know that I've been promotin Chris as much as I can. There's a lot of really great talent this year, though. Who knows...I think it's gonna be a pretty good season!

Holy Cow!!! First thing first, I can't stand Anastaia!!! It gets worse every year. And this was only the first show!!! I don't really like the Keith Urban wanna-be! Casey and Chris were my two favorite guys! They got rid of the right girl! Did not like the yodeling at all!!! And my favorite girl was the one with the skimpy top on. I am not relaly sure of her name!! I think this will be the toughest year ever and I think that a male will win!! Just my thoughts, take em or leave em!!  |

It was pretty good. I thought all of them were really good. I couldn't pick one to make leave. lol. I liked the first guy and the first girl. Just me though. lol. God Bless

Well Nashville Star was great last night!!! I definitly thought they got rid of the right person!!
Yodler girl did much better last night being that she actually sang!!
I personally think that it is going to come down to Chris Young and the Torres girl!! They are both awesome!!
The Jamrose girl just doens't cut it in my book! There is just something about her! I don't know!!
And Larry the Cable guy!! What can you say about him? They couldn't put the camera on him without me cracking up!!
This is going to be a good season. The best so far I think!!

For some reason, I just can't get into it this year. I was really excited to see it was going to be on, but the first 2 episodes have left me saying "blah..." I guess it's the talent (or lack of it) but I thought last year's bunch was far better and also last year, there were a couple that stood out right from the get go. This year, not so much - everyone is equally unimpressive.
And did anyone else notice that Wynonna must have some kind of phobia about being touched?? Seems she can put her arm around the contestants, but not vice versa. Last week, she told one of them to "watch the hair" (he wasn't even close to her hair)and this week, one of the guys put his arm around her and she looked at his hand on her arm and had a look of total disgust on her face. I wonder if she thinks she's too good to mingle with these "common folk" or what? I dunno - I just don't like her. I don't get a warm, fuzzy feeling from her.....
Lovin Cowboy Troy, tho. At least he acts like he's into it even if he isn't. And having Larry as a judge - I'm with Holly: you just can't even look at him without cracking up!
