This guy is scary to watch. Why does he get hung up all of the time? I can't seem to figure it out other than the fact that he tries to let go too late. I was wondering if some of the experts could enlighten me a bit.
By the way, he doesn't look like he's 24!!!!!

I havent ever seen the guy ride, but it sounds like when he rides he carries his free arm to low. I had the same problem for a long time, then finally got in a bad enough wreck that i got in more control with it

I have met this kid and seen him ride in person. First off, a super nice guy and he is pretty dang funny as well. They talked tonight about him usuing A LOT of Rossin and I noticed too that he took a suicide wrap.

well the rosin doent really cause hang ups. the suicide wrap might cause a little bit of it. Hangin and rattlin will cause some of it.

He seemed like a confident and fun guy when Hummer was talking to him. I suspect we're gonna see some good things from this guy.

Was that slower? That was the first interview I'd seen with him and he really needs to slow down and maybe breathe a little bit too! ;D

The guy sure does try his heart out, thats for sure. He might be using a rope that rolls over too easily, or he might be using a lot of black rosin. The black stuff tends to stick more and also gums up your rope faster than white rosin.

THAT WAS SLOWER?!?!?! He needs to take a breath in there somewhere! But I do agree that he tries his heart out and I feel bad that he's hung up in 3 of his 4 BFTS events

The reason people get hung-up is, when they come off the wrong side of the bull...EX: If you ride right handed, you should get off on the right side, if your left handed, get off on the left side. When you get on the wrong side, and dont go out the backdoor......your hand will roll over, and you cannot open it. Watch the bullfighters try to turn a bull the opposite direction, than what the riders hand is.....well....most riders, some just bail into a bad situation, but....thats a whole other story.......

Willy talked SOO fast at the last interview he did. He does not talk that fast when you meet him in person and there are no cameras around.
