Thanks for the info. I know that there are Canada tax treaties for the consultants I work with so it may only apply to certain classifications of workers.

I can't beleive all this bashing without knowing the facts..I'm friends with a lot of the PBR cowboys ...so I wanted to talk to some of them before I posted about this matter..ALL of the cowboys pay (US) tax's ..I read the post above about Canada so I called my good friend Rob Bell and ask him about Canada...well..he pays US tax's and Canadian tax, as well..about 30% of every check is taxes..and then files all the proper forms at the end of the year ..like all of us.. And as far as the Brazilians not speaking english..the ones that has been here for a while does speak english..Adriano, Ednei and Paulo..even Adrianos children speaks very good english..so, maybe when the rest are here for a while they too will learn.. As long as the PBR is a World Championship Bullriding..thats what you get...bullriders from all over the world. Maybe someone needs to start a US Only bullriding..would you like that better?..Not me..I want the world's best cowboy the win the World Title..so with all that said...Let the BEST cowboy! Win!! First off, i want to honestly and sincerely thank you for getting the information by getting the facts first. i totally respect you for that. I apologize to everyone for posting my opinions without knowing all the facts and now taht i do know...well sort of since i am once again basing my points only on what has been said in this thread...then i really dont see what all the fuss was about. These guys seem to be doing exactly what they need to...i have no problem. Im satisfied. Im happy. im whatever the word is to describe that theyre doing their part maybe even more. i really hope yall arent considering my opinions as a bashing against the guys in the pbr or just because they are "foreigners". I really respect these guys and enjoy watching them. A lot of them in the pbr are MY FAVORITES! I am SO ashamed of myself for leaving yall room to doubt that. I am happy about the pbr having participates from everywhere...and i too hope the best cowboy wins. plz forgive me if i offended anybody through my own opinions. Plz forgive me for not having the facts. I AM SO SORRY!

Well, my opinions are still the same no matter what anyone says. Although I don't think I was one of the harsher ones in this topic.
If you ride in the U.S., you need to pay taxes and speak English. If you are trying to learn the language, then it's ok with me. If you aren't, then go back to Brazil. It's pretty simple as far as I'm concerned.
If you pay the dues like others, then feel free to win all the world titles possible. But if not, then go back to where you come from. That's not too terrible of an opinion I don't think.

Everyone has their opinion and favorites..I just wanted to post what I was told about the tax thing...If we all had the same favorite it wouldn't be as much fun.

NCWEST, you did good by shedding some light on the topic. I was glad you did, as it's always a little better once we know the facts. I respected your opinions, and mine were much the same. I was just a little harsher about it..
